Modeling Bass

What is a Modeling Bass?

In shopping for a bass guitar, you may run into something called a ‘modeling’ bass. A modeling bass uses computer technology to emulate the tonal characteristics of many different basses. This technology is pretty new and keeps getting better and better. It started out with modeling amps and has just recently moved into modeling basses.
