Slops Or Chops

About This Lesson Block

The word 'chops' is musical slang for a person's technical facility on an instrument. In this lesson block I'm going to give you some exercises to address some common technical issues and start building your chops. Technique isn't everything. In fact, it's nothing if you have nothing to express. But, a writer needs to keep his or her pencils sharp for when there's something to say.
