Bass Exercise #1: F#m7(b5) in a Latin Jazz Context
In this line I used the entire F#m7(b5) arpeggio to help you hear its sound. You don't have to play all of the notes or play them in order. The other notes are just roots and fifths with a couple of passing notes.
Bass Exercise #2: Outlining an Em7(b5) Chord
In this example I've similarly outlined the Em7(b5), but starting on the higher root note. The notes on the other chords are again simply chord tones and approach notes.
